ASU-Mountain Home challenged Polk Stanley Wilcox to design a traditional campus from both planning and aesthetic standpoints in order to quickly establish a “history” through the architecture. The firm responded by designing a central quadrangle of new buildings tucked around the hilltop of the newly acquired 120-acre property. The three-story buildings enclose the Village Green, which contains brick lined promenades and plazas, a central fountain and large hardwood trees.
