We are excited to announce the promotions of James Struthers to Senior Associate and Rachel Acosta to Associate.
James is an architect and project manager in our Fayetteville office. He served as adjunct professor of the first-year design program at the Fay Jones School of Architecture, teaching a combined studio of architecture, landscape, and interior design students the basic skills and methodologies essential for success in design practice generally. He previously worked with Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (ASGG) in Chicago where he worked on notable projects including the Al Wasl Plaza and Dubai 2020 Expo Legacy plan and Chechnya’s Akhmat Tower. James received both his Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, studying abroad in Barcelona along the way.
Rachel works in our Little Rock office as a residential designer. She has extensive experience with the design of new residences, as well as renovations and additions to existing homes. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Rachel received the Mariana Van Rensselaer Medal, which recognizes an architecture student who has achieved outstanding excellence in attaining a liberal education and its allied disciplines. Rachel has the creative vision for any type of project, whether it’s renovating her own home or planning one of our firm’s events, she transforms the mundane and ordinary into something extraordinary.
