The hardware store, located on the town square since 1908, was renovated to house a main banking facility and also to be the physical realization of the concept of a community owned bank. The historic building’s red brick and limestone exterior was returned to its original condition, revealing a sloping skylight which once again allows light into all levels via the stairwell.
