Our firm celebrated the Topping Out Ceremony for the new Science Building and Field House on the historic Central High School Campus. This project is the school’s first major expansion and renovation in over 50 years.
The new 67,000-square-foot Science Building will replace portable buildings that have been on campus since 2000. The building will be three stories, with labs for chemistry, biology, physics, robotics and horticulture. The building will also include a rooftop patio classroom and a 200-seat lecture hall.
The new 58,000-square-foot Field House for boys and girls will be two stories and include a 40-yard indoor practice field as well as weight and locker rooms.
The project is designed to complement the architectural beauty of the historic campus and neighborhood. But above all, we have designed these new facilities to represent and support the high level of academic and athletic excellence of Central High School. Go Tigers!
