Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects transformed two floors of open shell space into a corporate office environment for Acxiom. Private offices are on one floor with a conference room and temporary workspace on the other. Both floors are equipped with an open break area, thoughtfully designed and detailed for various storage needs and everyday use. This area becomes the main feature of each space. Bright white walls and exposed structure and ductwork are contrasted with dark carpet and a subtle blue accent color. After a request from the client for a sleek, contemporary office space with a dramatic ceiling feature in the large conference room, PSW designed a custom light fixture installed above the conference room table that creates a presence visible from the corner on the street below.
